Tandoori Chicken recipe is an easy to make appetizer recipe, which can be prepared easily using easily available ingredients at home. Here’s a simple recipe to prepare this delectable Indian delight. Wash the chicken well. Mix all the ingredients and marinate the chicken pieces. then refrigerate it for 8-12 hours. Remove from the refrigerator at least an hour before grilling it. This will bring it to the room temperature.Step 2
Preheat the oven at 400 degree Fahrenheit , bake for 40 minutes-50 minutes till the top turns crispy. Brush olive oil in between if required. Prepare the baking dish with aluminium foil and keep a drip tray on the top and keep the chicken pieces without peeling off its skin, this will melt the fat from the meat and drip off, easily. Sprinkle corn flour on top of each piece. After first 20 minutes turn pieces with tongs and sprinkle cornflour. Discard the fat collected at the bottom in between or else it will start blackening and burning at the bottom. Turn the pieces after 5 minutes from back to top so that it turns brown.
Leave it in the oven for another 10 minutes, despite switching off the oven.. This will make the pieces, dry & crispy on the outside and succulent & juicy inside. Serve hot with salad, flat bread like chapatti or naan with mint coriander chutney or cucumber raita.
